Pirate! I would rather be a pirate than a ninja. I love water and boats. I am pretty sure I would like treasure too. I am not necessarily the most graceful of individuals, dare I say I am klutzy at times. When I think on ninjas, I do not picture any of them as clumsy. I would rather be a pirate out on the open seas than a ninja, although I do like wearing the color black…
Would you rather have your personality or your looks change every day?
I think I would rather my looks change every day than my personality change every day. That way if you do not like your looks you can just wait until the next day and they wil be different. Honestly I do not really want either to change, but if I had to chose, I would rather my looks change every day.
I prefer Twitter to Facebook. For several reasons: having the 140 character limit makes me get creative with my verbiage and makes me think sometimes, “Do you really want to post this random thought?”. I believe people tend to over-share on Facebook (not saying that people who tweet do not over-share, I am just saying the people I follow do not tend to fill up my news feed with long rants about the delivery time of their pizza or maternity photo shoots (UGH!)). However, Facebook does have some positive features. For instance, I can easily host an online Jamberry party with guests from across the nation/globe. In the end, I would rather use Twitter than Facebook.
Would you rather (safely) explore outer space or the ocean?
I was a tourism major in college and space tourism is a real thing (in the works). Billionaires are seriously funding the possibilities for tourists to capture out-of-this-world snapshots. Here is a great article if you are interested in reading more about space tourism. However, I would love to explore the depths of the oceans. I would really like to visit the Titanic wreckage in a submarine and see some of the majestic creatures that call the salty waters home. I would love the opportunity to partake in tourist opportunities of both, but if forced to pick, I suppose I would rather (safely) explore the ocean. That is my answer at this moment anyway…
Would you rather your life be a musical or silent film?
If my life were a movie, it would definitely be a musical. I love musicals (Guys and Dolls, Sound of Music, Chicago, the list goes on). I was even in a musical version of Footloose (one of my favorite movies) my sophomore year in high school. I would rather my life be a musical than a silent film.
Would you rather always know when someone is lying or always get away with lying?
Well, I cannot tell a lie. It’s the truth, I am not very convincing when I attempt to lie. Which isn’t all that often I might add. I think I would rather always know when someone is lying to me and save myself some heartache and frustration.
Would you rather get a dream vacation for two weeks, alone, or spend five days with anyone in the world, but have to stay in your hometown?
I think I would rather spend five days with anyone in the world in my hometown. I’m not too sure who that “anyone in the world” would be. I need more time to answer that one. While a dream vacation sounds nice, I think I would get awful lonely by myself.
Would you rather live in a museum, library or zoo?
This one is a little tricky. As an artist a museum would be interesting, you can find a lot of inspiration and do a lot of thinking in a museum. I also like animals, but I could not live in a zoo because the smell gets to me. I would rather live in a library. In a library you can find books on all subjects. It would take you a long time to get through all of the books available to you, and think of all the things you could learn. I grew up in a family that likes to read. Reading was not my favorite activity when I was younger because I was dyslexic and reading was difficult for me. Now I really enjoy reading.
Would You Rather have a bad teacher who is nice or a good teacher who is mean?
I grew up in a family where learning was not only important, but something we all found enjoyable. My mother and sister are both teachers so this question is pretty easy for me. I would rather have a mean, but good teacher who effectively communicates the information to me than a nice, but ineffective teacher.
